Der Kopfhörer und das Zubehör sind wie neu, einfach nicht mein Ding, deswegen der Verkauf. Die schwarze Umverpackung, die den eigentlichen stabilen Karton umhüllt hat ein paar Gebrauchsspuren wie auf dem Bild. Die waren schon beim Eintreffen hier drauf. Offenbar war da was festgepappt. Außerdem ist dieses schwarze Pappding an einer Ecke etwas eingerissen, weil der eigentliche Karton darin unfassbar stramm sitzt. Privatverkauf, daher keine Gewährleistung oder Rücknahme durch mich. Rechnungskopie (Kauf Anfang August 2024) gibt es dazu.

This ultra rare classic amp, one of the first from Cambridge Audio around the Stan Curtis era, still sounds superb.You wont find another working example in a hurry. At 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms, its a real beast, too. Rock solid, weighs a ton due to the massive cast iron ribbed plate on the underside that acts as the heatsink for the output transistors and the hefty toroidal transformer.TWO inputs for magnetic cartridges - high sensitivity so even a moving coil cart will work.AUx, tuner and tape loop, hi and lo filters. headphone socket.For a 50-year-old piece of kit, its not in bad shape.There has been some minor corrosion to the surfaces, the lid has been resprayed to improve the appearance, and some touching up to the fascia. The volume control legend has worn away, but overall it still looks the business, nice slim profile. Study the pictures for an accurate overview.Sound quality is first class, no hum, low noise and distortion specs very good. Pots and switches serviced with deoxit to fix any scratchiness.Line input sensitivity is again high - you might need attenuators to play a modern high output source like a CD through it.Naturally for electronics of this vintage, it might benefit from some recapping etc, but to my ears it sounds pretty good.
