Er unterstützt nicht nur Eingangssignale bis zu 24bit/192kHz, sondern rechnet jede Eingabe auf 24bit/384kHz hoch. Dafür wird der Signalverlauf aus den vorhandenen Datenpunkten geschätzt (Interpolation) und weitere Punkte aus diesem Verlauf hinzugenommen. Wie viele sicherlich wissen, erkennt unser Gehör nur Frequenzen bis maximal 22kHz (eher 20kHz). Möchte man die vollständig erfassen, muss in jeder möglichen Schwingung mindestens zwei Mal gemessen werden (Niquist-Theorem). Das entspricht dem Doppelten von 22,05kHz, also 44,1kHz (CD-Standard). Warum also mit 192kHz oder gar 384kHz Datenpunkte samplen? Das hat nichts mit den hörbaren Frequenzen, sondern mit der Rekonstruktion der Signalkurve zu tun. Ein Toslink-Kabel (s. Foto) lege ich bei, ebenso das Netzteil. Verkaufe ihn nur, weil ich komplett auf ein anderes System gewechselt bin. Da privat, schließe ich die gesetzliche Gewährleistung aus.
