The unit is in near mint cosmetic condition but it is not functional. I powers up fine, but has the typical issue in these units where volume control does not respond to the knob. The Internet forums identify this as the encoder behind the knob either being dirty or worn out with instructions for cleaning or replacement. I have no electronics experience so I used it like this fine with the remote. Unfortunately, the remote just stop working. I am hoping somebody might want to fix. Cambridge Audio Azur 840A Class XD Integrated Amplifier. Fantatsic sounding amplifier and you will be hard pressed to find any marks on this. Works flawlessley and is a beast of an amp in terms of actual weight as well as in terms of sound. Massive 120w per channel. Class XD amp. Superb sound. There is also a brand new Cambridge Audio remote control included. This is a very heavy item so postage will be a little on the high side but I will cap it at 20 and I will pay any difference. Collection also available. This is a beast of a machine and I have recently owned the cx80 and cx61 and in my opinion this is a far better amp just without the digital inputs and Bluetooth. Far more power, control and tonal sound quality. This is the version 2 unit aswell. Class XD amplification is amazing. Relisted as last buyer cancelled the order.
