Cambridge Audio Azur 840C Upsampling CD Player w/Remote Serviced For sale, we have a Cambridge Audio Azur 840C Upsampling CD Player, with the original remote. The unit is in excellent working order, the transport is responsive, and the display is clear. This is a very well made unit. We obtained the unit in a collection. On our bench, the transport worked quickly, and smoothly. The digital and optical outputs functioned as they should. The analog outputs, both RCA, and XLR had some distortion in the right channel. Upon review, we discovered that this is a common problem in these players. As per Cambridge Audio, we replaced the specified six capacitors that were failing, (three on each channel) with Nichicon caps, and it solved the issue. We found two of the six capacitors were way out of spec. The unit is in very good physical condition with some scuffs and blemishes, most notably on the top of the unit. There are no deep scratches, or dents on the unit. The original remote is included and is in working order. Please see the many pictures in the listing for further details. We dont have the original box for this unit, but we take packaging and shipping seriously. We spare no expense and use heavy duty boxes, several inches of polyethylene foam on all sides of the unit, and use water activated, fiber reinforced tape on all seams. Auf den Foros zu sehen Kabel, mit Ausnahne der Stromversorgung gehren nicht zum Angebot. Hochwertige Chinchksbel knnten aber evtl. dazu erworben werden. Die zu sehenden XLR Kabel sind berhaupt nicht ntig. Geht bei den Gerten beides! Kenner wissen: Mit dieser nach Class XD System arbeitenden Kombi hat man eine Kombi mit der sich auch grere Lautsprecher mit ordentlich Pegel verzerrungsfrei betreiben lassen. Zustzliche Effizienz gewinnt diese Class XD (fr Crossover Displacement, also Verschiebung des bergangspunkts) getaufte Technik, indem sie das Ausma der Verschiebung signalabhngig anpasst. So soll sie ber den ganzen Leistungsbereich niedrigste Verzerrungen garantieren, bei gleichzeitig noch akzeptabler Energie-Effizienz und bezahlbarem Konstruktions- und Khlungsaufwand. Sowohl qualitativ als klanglich hat Cambridge Audio bei der Serie alles richtig gemacht. die Cambridge 840 E rechtfertigte ihren Mehrpreis nicht nur mit besserer Ausstattung, sondern auch mit besserem Klang. die Cambridge wirkte ... noch mheloser und relaxter, wenn es laut wurde... ...die samtwarme Cambridge 840 W wahrte selbst in den dissonanten, chaotischen Passagen und auch bei Live-Pegeln jene distinguierte Eleganz und Zurckhaltung, die das Klischee von einem englischen Verstrker erwarten wrde, und die man dennoch nur in Ausnahmefllen findet... Bewertung: + angenehm warmer Klang, der dennoch tief hineinhren lsst. Gesamturteil: berragend High-End-Klasse In der Audio wurde die Vorstufe Cambridge 840E und die Endstufe Cambridge 840W als Kombination getestet. Die Gerte sind ohne nennenswerte optische Abnutzungen und arbeiten einwandfrei. Derzeit an Nubert Nuvero 140.
