It is soft but the contours are clear and the speed and vibrancy of live music come through strongly. The resolution and the breadth of the sound field are also rich. I have listened to various domestic manufacturers such as Pioneer Denon and Yamaha but I think this is a wonderful amplifier that is comfortable to the ear something that is rarely heard in Japanese-made amplifiers. Condition It is in good condition as it was kept in a rack. There is a small color fade on the top of the main unit but other than that I think it is a beautiful item with no noticeable damage.
