California Audio Labs Sigma II Tube Analog Processor DAC Used. Tested. Sounds great. Good cosmetic condition. Has Sovtek 12AX7 installed (see pictures). Includes power cord. The Sigma II has a full warm analog sound, particularly in the lower frequencies. It’s hard to beat the sound quality for price. It is meant to be kept powered on, as it has a recommended warm up time of 30 minutes. There is a power switch on back panel. It has 2 inputs, coaxial and optical, with the input selector switch on the back panel. It has an auto on signal detect, LED light turns on when a signal is present. Depending on your input source (I have used only CD players/transports), mechanical sounds (varies depending on source) from actuating relays may be briefly heard from chassis (not speakers) only for couple seconds when connected source is first powered on. There is a brief delay, depending on source and input being used, before the Sigma begins processing signal after it’s been detected. This is normal behavior.

Blows the fuse as soon as I turn it on for parts, not working. No return no warranty.

This is the upgraded Cal Sigma DAC with the 96/24. It is not powering on. The tube glows/works and the fuse is metering good. No power. I will ship only on the lower 48 states. I can get you an exact shipping quote if you ask. The shipping quote is a flat rate but will likely be less if you ask me for a quote. I don’t box myself. This is for parts/repair and no returns. There is a Cal Audio repair shop in Connecticut that still works on this equipment.
