The 4000XR was BSR’s top-of-the-line 12-band frequency equalizer in the day, and one of the best ever made. This unit is highly sought after by serious audiophiles because in addition to its equalizing capabilities, it has both an acoustic pressure-level meter as well as a pink noise generator combined into one device. The 4000XR also has a built-in real time analyzer together with a microphone that enables the user to take samplings of room acoustics based upon the equalized settings, and all of this can be done from the comfort of your chair by using the included wireless remote.
