BSR 4000XR Computer Memory Frequency Equalizer / Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer Working but in Poor Condition. Some of the up/down buttons are snapped off, there is a ding on the top of the case, some of the led bars dont illuminate when adjusting frequency, etc. Regardless of these flaws the unit works as can be seen in the photos with the Pink Noise Generator providing a signal. I was able to adjust the frequency using the up/down pads under the snapped off stalks. I included a picture of the battery compartment and the door with two thumb screws that covers it. Pretty nice condition in my opinion and absolutely not easy to come across one for sale. This remote control is the absolute best part of having the 4000XR equalizer because you can actually adjust the eq from where you are sitting at while listening which can be a serious advantage and sound improvement rather the getting up and adjusting the controls while leaving the actual listening spot.- Hope that makes sense! Brand new batteries that have a 10 year shelf life so they shouldnt leak for a long time if ever. I package well so no worries at all. - Thanks! LFC 4-3

BSR 4000XR Computer Memory Frequency Equalizer / Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer acquired from the family of the original owner. There is No remote control or microphone included with this unit. I tested this eq and the equalizer function and display work along with the pink noise generator. The flaws this unit has are the small extensions/projections on the bottom row of switches are missing. The switches still work since the touch pads are still in place. Just the cylindrical extensions are missing. There are actually sellers who just sell the needed full switch knobs on ebay if so desired. As previously stated, the equalizer works a long with adjustments, etc. Due to age, a long period of non-use and the above-mentioned missing switch posts, this equalizer is offered for restoration and sold as is.
