** Please Read ** Only 3 of the 5 channels are working and remote turn on does not seem to work. I have owned this amp for about 8 years and have been using it for my surround Atmos speakers. I contacted Bryston and they will go through the amplifier for ~ $1000 + shipping. However, I added another pair of Atmos speakers and needed a 6-channel amp so I decided to go in a different direction. The amp was rack mounted and does NOT come with feet. I do not have the original box but it will be shipped double boxed in an Anthem Amplifier box. Please let me know if any questions.

Biete hier einen Bryston SP-1 Vorverstärker/Prozessor zum Kauf an! Brystons SP-1 nimmt, wie alle Vorverstärker-Prozessoren von Bryston, eine Sonderstellung im Markt ein. So verzichtete Bryston schon immer auf unnötigen Schnick-Schnack sowie Features, die man selbst in einfacheren AV-Receivern als selbstverständlich erachten würde, und fokussierte auf optimale Klangqualität. So schleppt der SP-1 keinen unnötigen Ballast, wie heute ohnehin obsolete analoge Videoeingänge oder Ähnliches mit. Dafür bietet der SP-1 analoge Ausgangsstufen in reiner Class-A-Topologie und im Analogpfad entspricht sein Aufbau 1:1 Brystons analogem Vorverstärker BP-25. Dementsprechend findet sich im analogen Audiopfad nicht ein integrierter Schaltkreis, sondern alle Schaltungen sind hübsch diskret aufgebaut, was Serienstreuung minimiert und das Timing optimiert. Im analog Bypass-Modus nutzt der SP-1 auch ausschließlich das Alps-Potentiometer, so dass nicht, wie bei vielen Heimkinokomponenten üblich eine A/D- sowie eine nachfolgende D/A-Wandlung für eine digitale Lautstärkeregelung benötigt werden, die den Klang sicherlich nicht besser machen. ;-) Mit seinen S/P-DIF Digitaleingängen (optisch und koaxial) ist der SP-1 zusätzlich auch eine digitale Vorstufe, für Mehrkanal wie für Stereo. Der angebotene SP-1 besitzt eine 19“-Front, so dass er sich auch direkt in ein 19“-Rack montieren lasst. Aber auch freistehend gibt er in 19“ eine gute Figur ab. In einer anderen Auktion biete ich eine 17“-Front für den SP-1 an… nur für den Fall. :-) Der SP-1 kommt nicht mit der Original-, sondern mit einer Ersatzfernbedienung, deren Befehle der Originalfernbedienung entsprechen… bis auf den LD-Eingang… den haben sie wohl vergessen :-o Zusätzlich gibt es von Bryston natürlich auch die Fernbedienungs-Codes zur Programmierung einer lernfähigen Fernbedienung oder eine Befehlsliste für die Steuerung über den RS-232-Port des SP-1. About: The Bryston 9B-ST is the five-channel power amplifier version of the 3B-ST (two channels), 5B-ST (three channels), and 8B-ST (four channels). All of these amplifiers are modular, with each module having its own complete power supply, including an 0.25 kVA (250 watts) toroidal transformer, dual 15,000 µF power supply capacitors, and ±60 Volts on the rail, providing 54 Joules per amplifier channel (thats 1,250 watts of toroid and 270 Joules of energy storage total, which is a LOT for a 120 watt/channel, five-channel power amplifier). Four bipolar output transistors per channel deliver 120 watts per channel into 8 Ohm loads and 200 watts per channel into 4 Ohms. I believe this was manufactured in 2000.On the surface, it doesnt look intimidating does it, in a world filled with five channel home theater amplifiers rated at 120 watts per channel? One thing though: look at the weight . . . 59 pounds. Thats pretty heavy for a multi-channel amplifier of such a modest rating. The reason? An absolute KILLER build quality.The rear of the 9B has a three-prong (grounded) AC cord receptacle on the left, and then each of the modules end panel, having an XLR balanced jack, slider switch for selecting balanced or unbalanced RCA (gold plated), and a +6 dB position for increased sensitivity in the balanced input (1 volt input produces 100 watts output into 8 Ohms instead of 2 volts input with the normal balanced switch setting). The five-way speaker binding posts are unique and will be welcome to those of us who use spades and bare wire connections on our speaker cables. Each binding post has the usual opening in the back for a banana plug, Bryston 9B-ST Speaker Binding Post but the front end has a slot and hole that serve as a convenient guide to slip the spade or bare wire into (see photo at left). Its very simple, very clever, and very useful. The front panel has a push button on/off switch and five LEDs that indicate power on. They turn red at channel clipping. Massive handles let you carry the amplifier or move it around on a shelf.
