Here is the dealio - These speakers work great but have some cosmetic issues. First, the cases have been painted...more than once and one of them has a crack as seen in the pics. Secondly, the screens are washed out in color. They are very faded. Lastly, in one of the speakers you can here something moving when it is handled. I opened it up and gave it a good look and dont see anything lose or moving, which makes me think the case isnt sitting snug on the speaker mount and that is whats doing it. But I honestly cant figure it out. They sound great and would be great for entry level speakers or if you can hide them in a bookshelf.
