The bass unit is made from aluminium, which was selected for its excellent stiffness and ability to function as a piston. Kevlar loudspeaker cones. Twin Flowports at the rear of the cabinet have surfaces dimpled like a golf ball to smooth the airflow and reduce turbulence. The lower Flowport is integrally moulded with the terminal tray. These are very heavy.The pair sold new for $1,500 in 2003.The top of one speaker has a few scratches as shown in pictures and there are a couple small dings on the bottom of the speakers which I tried to take pictures of. It was brought to my attention that one of the tweeters had a dent in it as shown in one of the pictures. I had my brother come over who is familiar with speakers. He took the speaker apart and was able to get the dimple out, but it is not smooth. He checked the sound out with a receiver and they still work very well. The wires on the tweeter have not been broken, so the dome is basically for aesthetics. It appears you can buy a replacement on ebay if you want to for looks. The listing is for one piece of genuine B&W speaker rear bass hole bung. This is from my B&W CM4 speaker. It will fit also to any other speakers with 50mm inverter hole. Bung is around 50mm in diameter and 45mm in length. It will change the sound of a speaker. Bunged it will sound faster as it makes the drivers push harder. Will dispatch quick and free of charge or you are welcome to collect.

B&W Bowers Wilkins CM4 speakers. Single owner speakers remains in great condition. One ding back top corner as pictured and few marks on bottom of speakers. Sequential serial numbers. I will ship each speaker separately via FedEx ground.

The listing is for just one plate. This is not a pair! This is a genuine bi-wire bridge plate which is used in many B&W speakers, like DM603 S3, CM Centre, CM1, CM2 , CM4, CM5, CM7, CM9, HTM61 HTM62, LCR60 S3, LCR600 S3. The plate is 50x10mm. Amazing condition. Drivers and tweeters are ding free and sound flawless. Grills are excellent and wood grain cosmetics are excellent. Overall, these are an 8.5 out of 10 for cosmetics and 10 out of 10 for sound. Non-smoking home. Only reason for selling is downsizing. Local pickup or shipping. Shipping cost will include full insurance and careful packing. I dont have original boxes but have many years experience with shipping large and delicate items like speakers. These are my personal speakers that I have lightly used in a condo for about 5 years. The sound is outstanding on these. They are one of the most open and efficient towers that B & W has ever had. They can run loud if that is what you want, but still remain elegant and beautiful in their modest size. There is not a finer tower speaker under my asking price. They punch way above their cost and IMO will go head to head with $1500 speakers on fine detail and clarity. Much of this is due to the Nautilus tweeters.
