These speakers and their companion components which I am also selling were professionally installed by a home theater company in 2000. I am the only owner since new. I personally tested both speakers before listing. I found them both to be excellent working order and they performed flawlessly as you would expect from a B&W speaker.The bass/midrange Kevlar cones look great with no damage to the dust caps/bullets. See detailed photos.The tweeter cones are undented. See detailed photos.The fabric speaker grill looks good and has no pulls, tears, or stains. See detailed photosThe speaker cabinet, finished in dark red cherry, looks great with minimal signs of use or wear. See photos of all sides of each speaker.The original mounting brackets remain in place and can be used to hang these speakers on a wall surface. These speakers were mounted on a high downward sloping wall and never in direct sun. Because of the downward slope, the installer used a screw to fasten the speaker flush to the wall. These screw holes can be seen in the back side photos of each speaker. There is no discernasble impact of these screw holes on the operation of the speakers. Bowers & Wilkins B&W CDM SNT Rear Surround Speakers In Cherry. Had since new, in excellent condition, please see photos. These have served me very well in my set up down the years but I’m moving to a smaller place so will be using satellite speakers as these will be too big so will be sad to see these very good speakers go, essentially these are based on the cdm7 floor standers and are voiced really well to match synergy wise. Original box i cannot seem to find and pretty sure it was in loft but if i cannot find before sending i will make sure these are packed and protected just as well if not better than the original packaging by a seasoned eBay seller with plenty of experience in making sure items are extremely well protected. Also cannot find original binding spacers for speaker posts so will throw in my chord signature jumper cables i used on these speakers which cost me over £100. So will come with the original grills in mint condition with the chord signature jumper cables (and original boxes of i can find them in time)

You are buying a pair of B&W CDM 7NT Speakers Bowers & Wilkins Made in England Nautilus Tweeters Everything works great they have been tested About cosmetic condition they show some scratches and dents for normal wear as pictured, however they sound amazing great quality from Bowers and Wilkins One tweeter is pushed and missing the cover as you can see in pictures but works great NOT ORIGINAL BOXES OR PACKING Specifications : 3-way tall boy type speaker system. A 16.5 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range. A paper Kevlar cone is used for the diaphragm of this unit. A large diameter mushroom type dust cap is a feature. A voice coil bobbin directly supports the back side of the dust cap to enable dynamic low range playback. The mid-range is equipped with a 16.5 cm cone type mid-range. The diaphragm of this unit uses a Kevlar cone to reduce the standing wave generated in the cone. In addition, the center cap is equipped with a bullet-shaped fading plug to improve the diffusivity in the middle and high regions, making the connection between drive units smoother. A 2.5 cm metal dome type tweeter is installed in the high range. This unit is a tube-loading tweeter used in the Nautilus 800 series, which effectively absorbs unwanted sound radiation from behind the diaphragm, enabling higher-quality high-frequency playback. In the network section, the filters for woofer and tweeter are separated into separate boards to eliminate mutual interference between each circuit. Air-core choke coils and polypropylene film capacitors are used for the circuit elements. The enclosure uses a bass reflex system. The CDM NT series enhances the exposure of the tweeter by exposure of the tweeter, enhances the sound spread and the sense of freedom, and improves the total system performance by aligning the time with the woofer. The bass reflex port has a number of small depressions in the opening that act like the surface of a golf ball and, in combination with hydrodynamically studied shapes, improve air turbulence in the port. The exterior has a natural veneer finish and comes in three variations : black ash, red cherry and cherry.
