A 16.5 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range. A paper Kevlar cone is used for the diaphragm of this unit. A large diameter mushroom type dust cap is a feature. A voice coil bobbin directly supports the back side of the dust cap to enable dynamic low range playback. The mid-range is equipped with a 16.5 cm cone type mid-range. The diaphragm of this unit uses a Kevlar cone to reduce the standing wave generated in the cone. In addition, the center cap is equipped with a bullet-shaped fading plug to improve the diffusivity in the middle and high regions, making the connection between drive units smoother. A 2.5 cm metal dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
