Excellent working and looking center channel speaker.

For sale is a tested and working Boston Acoustics VR10 3-way center channel speaker. It is in perfect cosmetic condition except a small hole on the grill cloth. This can be seen in one of the pictures. It is a heavy well built speaker which sounds amazing. It will be well packed in bubble wrap and shipped out either the day of payment or the next shipping day. You will also be provided with a tracking numbers as well.

Boston Acoustic’s VR10 center channel speaker, a compact model in the Lynnfield VR Series. The VR10 features: 15-150 watts in 8ohms power handling, 5.25 bass driver, 3.5 midrange, 1 VR Tweeter, 5.25 Passive, 90dB sensitivity, 65hz - 20,000hz frequency responce (+/-3dB) VR10’s compact size (only 18 inches wide) means it hides pretty well on a credenza underneath a TV and completely wakes anyone's audio experience in that environment. The dual 5-1/4 poly cone drivers and 1 alum cone tweeter deliver really crisp highs and it can get surprisingly deep when it needs to. This unit is in great condition. As pictured, there are glue marks on the bottom from rubber feet, the Boston logo is missing from the grill and three of the grill clips broke off. The grill is cracked in two places which does not affect its ability to stay attached to the speaker, although not as tight as it should be. The sound performance is not effected and stays comfortably accurate. In my opinion this center channel speaker is better than the VR-MC and puts a lot of speakers to shame. I never once had that boxy sound people experience with some speakers. The louder they get, the more impressed I get.

There is scratches on one side (see pic) that I think could be repaired with a touch up pen. It is real wood. Otherwise, this speaker still looks nice and sounds even better. Well used, very good condition and great sounding 3way 4 driver center channel speaker. Often considered one of the best center channels BA made and i am a huge Boston Fan especially of the A series. The VR10 (5.25 woofer, 5.25 passive radiator, 3 mid, 1 dome tweeter) is an impressive center channel. It was replaced by the more recent VR-MC (primary difference only being the more deluxe cabinet with cherry wood grain veneer), which for a smaller center, had some SERIOUS power and bottom end. All drivers intact and sound great. No foam issues and cabinet is in good shape. Only real mark against it is a corner got hit but it is about half the size of a pencil eraser and has been touched up. There are some other minor knicks but the cabinet is very presentable. Grill in good shape too with a couple of corners showing through but not noticeable from normal viewing angle. This audiophile center channel speaker is in very good condition. Functioning perfectly with drivers all and excellent condition and sounding perfect. There are some white marks and some white speckles on the bottom of the cabinet. Any other flaws can be seen in the pictures. Overall in an 8 to 9 out of 10 condition. This is a vintage speaker with no warranties expressed or implied. No returns.
