The VR-M60 has so much more of a dynamic sound quality to the vr-m50 in my opinion. I’d rather not sell but I need to, items can be sold separate, make an offer. One tweeter is slightly dented but doesn’t effect the sound quality and won’t notice a difference. Has a few scuffs here and there cosmetically. The ps audio sprout 100 Bluetooth amplifier has 4 inputs and sounds phenomenal with or without the bass boost setting. Has a remote. Great small desk speaker and amplifier combo.

Slight dent in the tweeter I don’t believe this to effect how the speaker sounds. “And that doobie marvelous”

BOSTON ACOUSTICS VR-40 LYNNFIELD MONITOR AUDIOPHILE PAIR VR40 LOTS OF PICS. I now present to you a much sought after Boston VR Lynnfield monitor floor speaker. I purchased these several years ago because they were kept in a controlled environment and in very good shape structurally along with pristine sound. Personally, I have owned almost every Boston Acoustics VR (Video Monitor) speaker from floor to bookshelf. The VR40s were designed for music. Where as the Boston Acoustics VR35 are THX certified for film or cinema. In my opinion, the VR40s are the best full range speakers with a warm tone to them. I love listening to them. The cabinets are a little dinged up and the price reflects their condition. Any dings or scratches are located on the back or side/bottom of the speakers so you will not see them unless you were looking for them. I rate them a 6/10 for cosmetics. And 8/10 for speaker quality as the rubber surrounds on the speakers themselves are still very pliable and the tweeters are in perfect shape. If you are reading this auction you probably know what this is. But do your research and youll find how highly rated these pieces are. You will be hard-pressed to find a set of these speakers in this condition. Local pick up is encouraged and it is also advertised locally here in Orlando. If you do choose shipping, it will be well-packaged and insured. I included pictures of how the speakers will be packed: first, enclosed in Styrofoam sheeting placed in box. Secondly, placed in second box with lots of Styrofoam popcorn and then shipped to you. I have successfully done this before several times from Orlando to Seattle and LA. Up for sale are: Boston Acoustics VR-M50 pair of bookshelf speakers in cherry finish (1 inch tweeter and 4.5 inch mid in each ported cabinet) AND Boston Acoustics VR-MC center channel speaker in cherry finish (1 inch tweeter and 2x4.5 inch midrange drivers in sealed cabinet) Speakers will be sold as pictured WITHOUT original boxes and manuals. All three speakers have been tested and play normally. Serial numbers have been included in photos. Speakers were not designed to use spike feet so none will be included. All three speakers are biwirable and all three sets of bridging bars will be included with the auction. These speakers sound fantastic and have always held up well versus competing brands. I am selling them because I need the space in my current living situation otherwise I would happily keep and play them. Total weight for all three speakers is about 40 pounds so please factor shipping into your purchase. I am flexible about shipping cost and will use buyer's preferred method for packaging/shipping. All three speakers display slight scratches and smudges, but nothing major other than a scratch on the top of the center channel (please look at pictures to see damage). Boston Acoustics VR-M50 Video Reference Monitor (Pair) Im getting rid of a bunch of things that I have accumulated over the years. Picked these up but never used them. ******************* UPDATED ********************** I had a few questions. Apparently, I did not hook these up correctly. In the original listing, I stated that the speakers sounded tinny. One of the speakers was missing one of the gold connectors. I tested it connected to the top terminals (tweeter). Therefore tinny. I then connected it to the bottom terminals and got the woofer. Next, I attached the gold connector to the other terminal and everything worked as expected. One speaker will need the connector and terminal screws. I will still list these as for parts or not working as you will need to supply the missing parts. I retested these speakers and they essentially work. ******************* UPDATED ********************** Cones look good; see picture. The cabinets have a couple of marks but are in decent condition. I took pictures of all the sides. One speaker is missing two of the screws on the posts. It also had another bracket. Again see pictures. I do not want these back. Sold as is with no returns. Please consider this when bidding. Let me know if the shipping looks outrageous. The box is 15x10x12 and 25 pounds. Sorry about the shipping charges.
