How do they sound? These were developed in the era of directional up- and front-facing drivers, and in my opinion, sound better than any other Bose speaker of that era, and later. Simple design fills the room nicely packing a punch or presenting melodies precisely how they should sound. Vintage Bose Direct/Reflecting Floor Speakers (pair) - Model 601 Series II - 1981 - 29 H x 14 W x 13 D - Condition: minor wear commensurate with age and use (e.g., some color fading to the cloth grille, minor chips to the veneer on the front corner of one speaker). These speakers are UNTESTED/AS IS and have not been serviced recently. The woofers on top will need new foam. Please thoroughly review all photos to fully evaluate condition.
