These are a pair of Brown 1986 Floor Standing 601 Series III Direct Reflecting Speakers They from a dog friendly/smoke free home - so yes, there might be a few stray hairs on them Includes the new speaker wire and printed out instructions shown. They have some minor scuffs/scratches/signs of use - one speaker cover has a tear in it They both work and sound awesome. Speaker is working and sounds great. I did hook it up and all the speakers inside are working fine. Cosmetic condition is poor. The black material is old and has a lot of wear and is in poor condition. The wood part is in pretty good condition. Their are very few nicks or scratches on the wood part it actually looks fairly good. The speakers are all working and the foam around the sub feels pretty strong. For sale is this vintage and highly sought-after pair of Bose 601 Series III speakers each with two 8 woofers, four 3 directional tweeters and a tuned port enclosure design. The speakers are in perfect working order and very good cosmetic condition. The cabinet wood veneer is in very good condition. The color is uniformly light; but, if desired, its a simple matter to apply a darker wood stain and seal it with a tung oil finish. Both can be applied with just a a soft cloth. Its particularly easy to do on something with all flat surfaces like these speakers. Included are the original manufacturers boxes and packing materials.
