Two Bose 601 Series II Direct/Reflecting Floor Speakers - Near Mint - New Foam Surrounds Up for sale is a pair of vintage (1980s) Bose 601 Series II speakers in near mint condition. The surround foam was replaced on all four woofers in the past two years and in great condition. The speakers sound fantastic. Please watch the video for a sample. The fabric on the speaker grills have faded a bit over the years as shown in the photos and some of the woodgrain vinyl veneer is missing on the bottom edges -- otherwise beautiful condition! This matched pair of Bose 601 Series 3 speakers are in excellent condition and sound amazing! Dr Bose really knew his stuff when he designed these speakers. The outer cabinets are in great shape, very few signs of wear. The speaker grills have a few tiny marks and one small tear. The speakers themselves are in excellent shape, no dented cones or imperfections. The connectors look great and work properly. The magic happens when you connect your stereo system to these speakers! They are 8 ohms and can handle 200 watts per channel. They sound amazing! The bass booms, the mid-range is clear and the hi-notes are very sharp.
