Desirable Sunfire TGP-5 Theater Grand Processor being sold as is and currently not workingBob Carver designed Includes original manual and working remote Great opportunity for someone needing spare parts for another system and more knowledge than me.With the ownership change of the Sunfire line, I’ve had trouble getting the information needed to repair, as I think it relates to a 4-pin connection, but I’ve not been able to secure a proper schematic to determine the pin/wire terminations. There is a California company that has purchased the remaining parts and spares of Sunfire, but they’re only offering in-house factory repair and will not share information or sell parts. This unit could be sent to them and repaired at their bench rates with a $100 estimate fee which could be applied to the repair cost. Could be a great opportunity for the right person to repair this desirable unit with significant value in working condition. Item will be professionally and properly packed and shipped requiring a signature at delivery at seller’s expense to insure safe delivery.

This is one of three Sunfire 300x2 amplifiers I've had.  Still have one other than this one.  The one in this listing was serviced during previous ownership according to the gentleman I purchased it from.  I do not have a receipt.  I did open it up and it appears to have been cleaned at the very least.  The picture of the inside in the listing is how the amp currently sits.  I have not cleaned or otherwise touched the internals.  The amp works as it should.  No humming or cracking.  Lighted Joule meter may have a bulb out but it's hard to tell.   During my ownership (about the last 3 years), it has powered a pair of Klipsch Chorus II's and now a pair of Wharfedale Linton 85's.  I recently acquired a Hagel H190, so I don't need two Sunfires.  There is no lack of power when driving any type of speaker.  My other one is currently driving a pair of Infinity Kappa 9's, which are known to be power hungry.  This one is the cleaner of the two I have, that's why I listed it.  The amp will be packed securely and have full insurance.  Please view the pictures as part of the description.  Please message me with any questions.
