It also includes an extra remote control which was never used. All IR Blasters and Receivers are included, as well as an RS232 serial control cable and product manual. Everything you need to get going will be in the box. *Please read these important notes: One of the seven HDBaseT receivers was removed from service due to flaky behavior that was ultimately attributed to a cabling problem on our end. However, since we cannot 100% guarantee the functionality of this particular receiver, we have placed a red dot on its underside label. Our price reflects this potentially defective receiver. In the event of a problem, replacement receivers can be found anywhere for low cost, as the HDBaseT standard is universal. Things we like about this Matrix system: The receivers are powered over cable from the matrix, so no need for additional power adapters behind your displays. Also, the system supports 4K 60Hz over Cat6 cables. We like the #8 output being HDMI for local monitoring purposes, and the ability of the receiver to decode various audio streams and output them to analog and SPDIF. Most of all, we love the EDID capabilities of this matrix, which can copy and apply the EDID of any output device to any or all of the input channels. This is an extremely powerful feature and solves many problems related to video distribution across diverse inputs and outputs. For example, we needed to make sure our displays didnt attempt to produce audio, so we used the EDID of a computer monitor with no audio functionality.
