These products were derived from BDRs very effective (and expensive) The Shelf product and were designed to provide most of the benefits of that product at a more affordable price point. These are the original version, which incorporated a brass threaded insert All items originally purchased directly from DJ Kasser as factory seconds. Obviously, any cosmetics flaws have no impact at all on the sonic performance of the items. These are BDRs Mk3 items. These were designed to sound a bit warmer than the #4 versions, and be used with solid state electronics.
