I dont want to open this to see what may be the problem...but according to what I read about this problem online, it looks like it could be a simple fix. Excellent cosmetic condition...except for one small spot on veneer (see last pic). This is only visible if you turn the unit on its top. Unit STOPS in a few seconds after starting up. Every time I press rewind, play, or fast forward...the motor starts...and then stops after a few seconds. Please see video. You are purchasing AS IS. Im not too tech savvy...and afraid if I open it and something falls out....I wont be able to find where it goes or something! Its just the way my luck seems to run...so...at the risk of making a small problem worse by messing with it...and making a great unit less valuable, I will just sell it as it is and someone with more knowledge can benefit! If it doesnt sell...I may tear into it! Thanks for looking!
