Since we dont have Betamax cartridges, we cant test the drive and therefore dont give any information about how the player works. The remote control shows the full function of all the buttons on our remote control test device. Visually, the Betamax player shows only minor signs of wear on the lid and sides. The hi-fi gets plugged in powers up and shuts right back off. I’m not sure the problem with either one. Both come in the original box and both look very clean. No remote included with this listing.
