Bespoke C-CAM gold dome Super TweetersImplementing Monitor Audio gold dome transducersAn ideal enhancement for Montitor Audio and other performance loudspeakersOne Pair - As NewFinished in real black leather The super tweeters are designed to both compensate for high frequency roll off, high frequency absorption and to extend the effective frequency band width of a loudspeaker system up to 40kHz (ultrasonic frequency) These super tweeters implement gold dome transducers having an ultra low mass, rigid dome that has an excellent transient response and a virtually flat frequency response within the bandwidth used.These super tweeters have an integral second order, fully phase corrected -12dB/octave crossover that allows the super tweeters to be connected directly in parallel with the host loudspeakers.The addition of the super tweeters to a loudspeaker system provides a perceived increase in music clarity, detail and air to music, especially vocals and percussion, however the audible results of super tweeters does depend on the spectral content of music, as super tweeters can only reproduce high frequency content of the music being reproduced. In order for the increase high frequency the contribution to be noticeable the sensitivity of the loudspeaker system and the super tweeter should be the same plus or minus two decibels, suitable with loudspeaker with a sensitivity of 90dB /1 w or lower.These super tweeters provide a greater audible spectral contribution to music at a higher level and extend loudspeakers response up to 40kHz, double the audio bandwidth.The integral high-pass crossover can be set to either 7.5kHz or 15kHz for optimum audio spectral contribution and integration with the host loudspeaker depending on the frequency contribution required.Sensitivity of the super tweeters can be accurately adjusted by switch provides an attenuation of either; 0dB, -5dB or -10dB to suit both your speaker sensitivity and personal listening preference.Housed in wooden enclosures finished in real soft black grained leather, these super tweeters will adorn any loudspeaker from both a performance and visual perspective.Includes one pair of connection leads terminated with 4 mm banana plugs for quick out of the box connection, just connect to loudspeaker terminal in parallel The super tweeters should be position aligned with the host loudspeakers tweeter both vertically and the same depth offset for optimal time and phase alignment. Cambridge Audio S30 speakers in beech/silver with FREE bespoke 1m cables This listing is for a pair of Cambridge Audio S30 speakers, beech cases and silver front panels, in good used condition. I will also include a pair of 1 metre long 2 to 4 pin bespoke speaker cables, with gold plated banana connectors (as per photo). Condition Both speakers are functioning perfectly. There is a tiny amount of normal wear and tear, but one speaker does have a small dent on the top rear edge (see final photo). Please bear this in mind when bidding. The dent is hard to see from the front and obviously does not affect performance. The original dust covers are included. But these are… dusty! And would need a clean if you intended using them. Cost when new was around £150.
