Updated to the latest firmware 3.0 in year 2017 by Berkeley Audio Design, which among several improvements decodes MQA, update cost $400 USD. It also has the preamp function (deluxe the preamplification stage). They also added the heat panel at the button of the unit when it was sent for the MQA upgrade in 2017 to protect from the heat.
