Selling out from a large private B&O collection; This auction is for two 2-way loudspeakers from Bang & Olufsen in classic danish design, beautifully veneered surfaces in palisander (rosewood) with alu-trim and greyish black fronts.They produce a very nice and surprisingly balanced sound with good volume and power for their size.They would be a great choice for your apartment, bedroom, study or smaller-sized livingroom. Appearance;Coming from a very large private Bang & Olufsen collection, having stood unused for more than 20 years, the general appearance is extremely nice.I can only spot the tiniest marks of wear.Even the front grill cloths show only few and superficial imperfections.A nice little detail; the B&O logo badge at the front can be rotated to fit vertical or horizontal use !Cabinet size: apprx. 41 x 22 x 13cm(each).In the photos the front cloths look greyish and faded, thats merely due to bad lighting when the photo was taken.All photos are of the actual speakers for sale. Technically: Both speakers were tested for hours prior to auctioning and both are 100% operational, all drivers and crossovers are in superb condition.The old capacitors in the crossover filters have been replaced with new correct parts from Beoparts-shop.The cabinets have fittings (original) at the back for easy wall mounting.The deeptone drivers (woofers) does not use foam surrounds so will not deteriorate over time like many 1980s woofers do.The speakers have countersunk male DIN connectors at the back and they will connect to Beolink systems as well.Power rating is stated as 30 Watts (Max 50 Watts) at an impedance of 4-8 Ohms.
