Selling out from a large private B&O collection; This auction is for two vintage 2-way loudspeakers from Bang & Olufsen in classic danish design with beautiful surfaces in real rosewood (original) with eloxated alu frames.They produce a surprisingly pleasant and balanced sound with good volume and power for their age and size, - not wearing on the ears.They would be a great choice for your apartment, bedroom, study or smaller-sized livingroom. Appearance;Coming from a very large private B&O collection, having stood unused for more than 20 years, the general appearance is extremely nice!Apart from a few superficial pressure marks to the side of one speaker, I can spot only very minor marks of wear to the surfaces in general.Non-smoker.A nice little detail; the B&O logo badge at the front can be rotated to fit vertical or horizontal use !Cabinet size: apprx. 41 x 21 x 21cm(each).All photos are of the actual speakers for sale Technically:Both speakers were serviced recently. Both speakers had new surrounds fitted to the original woofers, and new capacitors of the correct types and quality from Beoparts-shop were fitted to the crossover filters.The speakers were then tested for hours prior to auctioning and both are 100% operational, all drivers and crossovers are working and there is no distortion. All fine.The cabinets have fittings (original) at the back for easy wall mounting.Both speakers still have their original long captured cables with the original type DIN plugs that will connect to any amplifier and also to Beolink systems.Power rating is conservatively rated as 20 Watts (Max 30 Watts) at an impedance of 4 Ohms. A friend has the same plug in so I was able to test speakers. They work great! Some what looks to be paint on cord. I or scuffs as shown and marks on cloth coving. Taken with flash you don’t see much in normal light. Any questions just ask. Thanks for looking at my stuff! Local pick up is welcome!
