When selectable (see below) the amp circuit/volume appears to be fine - CD player functional, cassette deck functional and radio functional....... The glass door stays open when powered up - sometimes it decides to close only in short shrift to reopen. On the rare occasions it does stay closed the hand wave will open it as designed. Often, when the glass door is open it is impossible to select Radio, CD, Tape or Aux. The only work around is to power off at the wall socket, then swith back to on - even then this does not reset it to allow selection every time. This machine is extremely temperamental then - only purchase if you have the skills to fix. Please see photos for exactly what you will receive (without remote, stand, aerial etc) and note whilst in the pictures the grill fabric appears to be blue - they are nearer to a black in colour in reality.

Up for grabs is this very nice, lightly used Bang and Olufsen Beosound 2000 stereo. the unit is in overall great condition with no tears in the cloth speaker grills and is fully operational. A new cassette capstan belt was installed and the playback speed was re-calibrated using a 3000Khz test tape. Cassettes play great, CDs load up quickly playing perfectly throughout with zero skipping, and the radio works well. The speaker surrounds are all perfect. I included a quick video demo going over the basic functions and some pictures sowing the unit with the speaker grills off. The unit was thoroughly tested for an extended amount of time off camera. Included is the manual, power cable, and original cassette belt for reference. Please see all pictures and ask any questions! This is a Bang & Olufsen Beosound 2000 that was manufactured in October 1995. This unit is in excellent condition with two minor tears in the top of the speaker cloth (photos shown). All features of this unit are fully functional. The glass door automatically opens when your hand is near the glass and closes again after a few seconds. Both the CD and the Tape player work and have been tested by playing a full CD and tape all the way through with no issues. The radio tuner is also fully working and picked up several stations right away. I also have the factory wall mount bracket which is included as well as the original manual and a B&O Beo4 remote which does control the Beosound2000, however the LCD is not functioning properly. If needed, I can provide videos of any of the features working.

Grills were washed well and are flawless. All cleaned very well on the inside and out. It is fully serviced with with a laser, and new belt for the glass door. Speakers are in a great condition, they sound great. Unfortunately, the tape mechanism doesnt work. All other features work great!.Please take a look at all photos to see the cosmetic condition. The remote is in a fantastic clean shape as well. the only minor cosmetic flaw would be some very minor scratches on the table top stand (last pic) its under the glass on the bottom and are only visible under the certain light. Please watch the video! The radio, and cassette player works as it should. The CD player does work, but is missing a pin or spring, that attaches to the door( see photo). You have to wedge a piece of cardboard or something similar in front of the latch to keep it pushed back, away from the spinning CD. Also the front glass panel is missing and the antenna has a split on the shielding as shown. It could probably be cleaned up a bit better as well. Parts/repair for these reasons. It is in pretty decent cosmetic condition as pictured, aside from normal wear. The photos describe cosmetics the best so please view all photos prior to purchase as they are part of the description.
