Three (3) more or less defective Beolit 800 are sold together. Beolit 800 was B&Os top of the line transistor radio from 1965 to 1968. Beolit 800 has an unusual feature shown in the video and in the 2nd picture: By turning the handle, two feet are extended from the cabinet such that the transistor radio can be placed on the feet and the handle with enough room under the radio for the sound to emerge. The radio can thus be placed on a shelf in e.g. a bookcase. But this mechanism only works in 2 of these transistor radios. From left to right in the 1st picture, the condition is as follows: 1) It plays both FM and AM. The widget at the top of the left aerial is unoriginal. The right aerial is intact. As shown in the video, only one foot is extended when the handle is turned - the other foot is stuck. 2) In the battery compartment, 3 out of 4 terminals are missing; see the last picture. There is thus no easy way to establish if the radio plays. You should assume that it doesnt play. The left aerial is missing. The right aerial is intact. As shown in the video, both feet are extended when the handle is turned. They may have more defects than mentioned here.
