Es handelt sich um das MK2 Modell der Beolab 8000 mit Bassupdate. Die Lautsprecher stammen vom letzten Produktonsjahr, erkennbar an der Seriennummer, die mit einer 208... beginnt.Das Bass Update ist definitiv sehr kräftig ausgefallen. An der gleichen Stelle hatte ich zuvor die Vorgängervariante (Beolab 8000 ohne Bass Update) betrieben und den Bass deutlich vermisst. Nach dem Kauf der MKII Variante war ich aber hoch zufrieden. Der Sound ist warm (dank sehr langlebiger AB Verstärker) und durch das MKII Bassupdate gleichzeitig nun auch voluminös bzgl. der tiefen Frequenzen. Wir haben keinen Subwoofer genutzt bzw. vermisst. Die Lautsprecher wurden sehr wenig genutzt (Nebenwohnsitz) und standen nicht in direkter Sonneneinstrahlung. Die Lautsprecherblenden sind fleckenfrei, tiefschwarz und ohne Falten. Ich konnte keine erwähnenswerte Kratzer oder andere Gebrauchsspuren auf den Lautsprechergehäusen/-blenden erkennen.
