About the Listing. This is for a used Bang And Olufsen Beogram CD5500 CD player. Turns on will not read discs. We have done some preliminary testing and diagnosis to this player. For some reason the unit will not spin up and try to read the disc. We decided to offer it up here instead of trying to fixing it. We do not have a service manual for it and without one we would could waste tons of time trying to get it up and running. So we are going to cut our losses. It powers up. The Tray opens and closes. The display works. It works powered to a Beogram 5500 system. It will just not read or play discs. Great parts unit or project unit. It is being sold AS IS and for Parts only. We make sure there is at least 3 inches of space between the product and the edge of the box. We make sure the fill material is of quality and will protect your item from poor shipping practices. In large heavier items over 20 pounds we double box the item. So shipping may appear high. These are the reasons why. We charge exact shipping. We do not profit. So if the postal carrier you choose charges us $x than we charge you $x. No gimmicks or tricks here.
