From my private collection: Benz Micro Glider SL Low Output MC Moving-Coil stereo phono, Upgraded Extra Neodymium Disc Magnet. This is a like new condition, sounds sweet, musical, works beautifully cartridge, excellent detail, stylus still sharp, cantilever and suspension is also in excellent condition. Tested with no more than 30 hours of use. After we compare the differences between Van den Hul the Colibri and the Master Signature (Grand Cru), we found that the obvious difference is in the size of the magnet, that is, the strength of the magnetic force, which gave us a revelation. We added a Neodymium Disc Magnet to the front end of this cartridge to enhance the magnetism. Okay, the singing officially started. When the needle was lowered, the music came out, Ha! Sure enough, the sound has more Hi-End, the solid feeling and thickness have also increased, and the density has also increased. The most obvious thing is that the sound speed becomes faster and there are more midrange and bass. This change in sound will allow me to spend more time researching and developing it in the future. Featuring the Benz Micro Ridge stylus, the Glider SL is 0.4mV output voltage level at 3.54cm/sec and a coil impedance of 12 ohms, making this cartridge suitable for moving coil phono stages with 56dB or higher gain. Bought this Glider new in 2018 and the diamond became defective (seems it was chipped) after warranty was over. It was sendtto VAS for a rebuilt in april 2020. In the meanwhile I have bought a Benz Wood and when the Glider was returned in june 2020, I kept it as a spare. I have decided to sell it. Put everything aside somewhere while I regained my health. About a year ago I was asking about upgrading an Ortofon 2M Black and someone mentioned the Benz Micro and a little light went on. I dug around in a box of stuff and there were the cartridge AND this wonderfully engineered little ebony wood cover/body for the thing. Benz Micro sells several similarly wood-clad cartridges that sell like girl scout cookies curbside to a cannabis dispensary, but, as they say (whoever THEY are), to each his own, one mans poison is another mans pleasure and mine were always the Samoas. SO, if youve been watching ads for this from the original seller, know that its a VERY nice piece of art and it works, adding a certain depth and mild resonance dampening you need to hear. Not a BAD thing, just different. No installation instructions included but the maker does have a link to a Youtube video explaining how to mount it without damaging the very delicate armature of the Glider. This IS solid, no cracks/defects, screws ARE included. Sorry, no returns unless it doesnt fit YOUR Benz Micro Glider. Having owned 2 Benz Gliders prior, this is simply a back up cartridge that has never been out of the box and has been stored in a plastic sealed sleeve in my record closet. I have had my Gliders in a Moerch DP6. It is very compatible with most good arms. The cartridge tracks superbly and is compatible with most step-ups and moving coil preamps. The sound is why I have enjoyed it so much. It is a neutral balance yet expressive and involving. It is very capable with jazz and rock and the female voice is reproduced incredibly as is piano. My musical taste is extremely broad yet the Benz delivers. You would have to spend 3X this to get even close in sound, flexibility and quality. It is Swiss...nuff said! Put everything aside somewhere while I regained my health. About a year ago I was asking about upgrading an Ortofon 2M Black and someone mentioned the Benz Micro and a little light went on. I dug around in a box of stuff and there were the cartridge AND this wonderfully engineered little ebony wood cover/body for the thing. Benz Micro sells several similarly wood-clad cartridges that sell like girl scout cookies curbside to a cannabis dispensary, but, as they say (whoever THEY are), to each his own, one mans poison is another mans pleasure and mine were always the Samoas. SO, if youve been watching ads for this from the original seller, know that its a VERY nice piece of art and it works, adding a certain depth and mild resonance dampening you need to hear. Not a BAD thing, just different. No installation instructions included but the maker does have a link to a Youtube video explaining how to mount it without damaging the very delicate armature of the Glider. This IS solid, no cracks/defects, screws ARE included. Sorry, no returns unless it doesnt fit YOUR Benz Micro Glider. Just let me know within 24 hours of delivery to your door, return at your expense AS SOLD (no dings, dents, cracks, scratches or other damage) and Ill refund what you paid for it, but NOT postage either way. Ich verkaufe hier ein defektes Benz Micro Glider SH mit MR Diamant. Beide Kanäle funktionieren nicht. Der Tonabnehmer ist aber bis dahin gut gelaufen. Ich gebe keine Betriebsstunden an, da ich es auch gebraucht gekauft habe. Zum Reparieren ist es aber eine sehr gute Basis. Der Tonabnehmer ist sehr sauber. Es ist eine High Output-Version mit 2,5 mV / 3,54 cm/s und kann nach der Reparatur direkt an den MM Eingang am Verstärker angeschlossen werden. Natürlich kann dies durch Neuwicklung der Spulen geändert werden. In der Schweiz gibt es leider kein Support mehr für diese Tonabnehmer, doch in Deutschland gibt es auch sehr gute und günstige Lösungen. (z.B.: Techne Audio) Originalverpackung inklusive Messschrieb und Datenblatt. Keine Garantie und Umtausch da Privatverkauf.

I havent even opened the seal on the box since receiving the cartridge back from The E.S.C I broke the original stylus and I am too scared I might do it again! Im gonna purchase a much cheaper moving magnet. The E.S.C. advise the cartridge will sound better than ever. Please feel free to ask them yourselves. Note the invoice shows it is the SL Glider.
