Bought this Glider new in 2018 and the diamond became defective (seems it was chipped) after warranty was over. It was sendtto VAS for a rebuilt in april 2020. In the meanwhile I have bought a Benz Wood and when the Glider was returned in june 2020, I kept it as a spare. I have decided to sell it. It could be considered new as the cartridge was never mounted since. You can see by the serial number the cartridge is fairly recent. Tried closeups with iPhone 13, this is as good as it gets. This IS like new - although eBay doesnt allow that to be in the ad line anymore. I bought this about 2 years ago, waited MONTHS for it while I got COVID, spent over a month sick as a dog, pneumonia, etc., and by that time had totally forgotten I had ever bought this, much less the Benz Micro Glider SL MC cartridge it mounts on. Put everything aside somewhere while I regained my health. About a year ago I was asking about upgrading an Ortofon 2M Black and someone mentioned the Benz Micro and a little light went on. I dug around in a box of stuff and there were the cartridge AND this wonderfully engineered little ebony wood cover/body for the thing. Benz Micro sells several similarly wood-clad cartridges that sell like girl scout cookies curbside to a cannabis dispensary, but, as they say (whoever THEY are), to each his own, one mans poison is another mans pleasure and mine were always the Samoas. SO, if youve been watching ads for this from the original seller, know that its a VERY nice piece of art and it works, adding a certain depth and mild resonance dampening you need to hear. Not a BAD thing, just different. No installation instructions included but the maker does have a link to a Youtube video explaining how to mount it without damaging the very delicate armature of the Glider. This IS solid, no cracks/defects, screws ARE included. Sorry, no returns unless it doesnt fit YOUR Benz Micro Glider. Just let me know within 24 hours of delivery to your door, return at your expense AS SOLD (no dings, dents, cracks, scratches or other damage) and Ill refund what you paid for it, but NOT postage either way. This always seems more than fair to me. YMMV. Void where prohibited by lawfare.
