The front volume control is a fully analog high quality Alps brand. The headphones outputs are always variable while the rear balanced XLR and unbalance RCA outputs are selectable as fixed or variable. The versatility of the Benchmark is truly awesome. I have used it in both on my desk connected to 2 computers to powered monitors for both headphone listening and controlling the monitors and in a studio environment to control the studio monitors. For sale is a silver faceplate Benchmark HPA4. Im the original owner. It is in excellent working and physical condition. There is a small dent on the top cover but I have included a new replacement cover which you can easily swap. I recommend keeping the cover with the dent if you decide to stack more equipment on top of the Benchmark.
