Got it home, cleaned it up, plugged it in. The touch controls all responded and when ADVANCE was touched, the CD platter spun (spinned?) for a few seconds then stopped. I tried different combinations of touching and finally got it to spin some Edvard Grieg for about 9 minutes. Then it stopped and now it doesnt spin at all anymore. the manual eject lever on the front works, but you have to coax the lid a bit. The lid will close when advance is touched. I opened it up to see what was what, but didnt see anything amiss. the ribbon cable to the CD drive had a little plastic piece that snugged up the cable, but I was not able to reinsert it. Its not that important. The control glass has a small piece missing on the upper right corner. Thers are a few scratches on the chrome.
