The amplifier works for over 40 hours on battery power. Two operating modes: Voltage and Current make it easy to find perfect synergy with your headphones. VOLTAGE: This is basically a conventional headphone output, which is characterized by a clean and quite linear presentation with a very, very black background. The overall character is dynamic yet smooth. The output is versatile enough to work with many headphone models. CURRENT: This is a special mode of Bakoon amplifiers. It works in a completely different way than the Voltage and is a “hit or miss” amplifier. Basically, it is intended for planar/IEM headphones, but it will work very well with many dynamic drivers, especially with Sennheiser HD600/HD800, Fostex TH900/909 and Grados. With this little box my HD800s have never sounded so good! The sound is massive, full and very dynamic. You can hear some bump in the lower midrange and an overall sense of power in the sound - while retaining bass control and great resolution/clarity in the sound. Current mode is dynamic and at the same time very musical. The soundstage is large without losing focus and with very good localization of musical instruments. Power is also an interesting issue, because on the HD800 I have the potentiometer at 8:00 (!) and have more than enough volume, so it is difficult to judge it based only on the specifications.

This Bakoon Satri 5514 Integrated Amplifier, class A 15 watt solid state.. Great condition, small scuff at the top left corner.. Wonderful full sound, 100 volt so a step down is needed. No power chord. Did not come with one
