High quality aluminum phase plugs, The aluminum phase plug is suitable wherever plastic plugs can be unscrewed. The plastic phase plug is then simply replaced with one of our high quality aluminum plugs. It is not for nothing that B&W uses aluminum phase plugs in the 805 Signature. Through the use of aluminum plugs, the frequency response, which is already very linear for simple plastic plugs, is jointly linearized and heat dissipation is maintained. Sound is further separated from the speakers, and further enhanced naturalness makes it even clearer and more accurate. Phase plugs prevent opposing diaphragms from cutting just as reliably. At the same time, when using aluminum plugs, better heat dissipation in the area of ??the pole core increases the load capacity and counteracts thermal changes in sound. The dynamic midrange driver works with particularly low distortion when a copper layer covers the inner pole of the magnet, while the aluminum phase plug provides dispersion of the higher frequencies. So only the right combination of materials does it. The technical explanation is trite: the combination of the two materials linearizes the inductance of the voice coil. This results in a dramatic reduction in distortion.

Seller, a previous owner of Bowers & Wilkins 802 Nautilus speakers, is putting up for sale a new ZZ11290 Mid Range 6 speaker which seller had purchased as a back up speaker in case one of the Mid Range units in his 2 past owned 802 Nautilus speakers needed to be replaced. Having sold his 2 802 Nautilus speakers, Seller has no need for a replacement speaker now. The ZZ11290 Mid Range 6 speaker also fits the Nautilus 801 Speaker as well as indicated by the manufacturers box. Seller purchased the new ZZ10642 Mid Range 6 Mid Range speaker for sale from an authorized B&W dealer. Seller has opened the box to make sure that the Mid Range speaker is inside the box. This is the second of two Mid Range 6 speakers that the seller purchased from an authorized B&W dealer. The first one was just sold on eBay. Because the second one is my last one, and because it is not available from Bowers & Wilkins according to authorized B&W dealers, it is a very rare item, and is priced accordingly.
