Bowers & Wilkins DM2a Vintage Speakers in Beautiful condition & Fully Working - Consecutive Serial Numbers As part of my continued downsizing, I have decided to sell part of my B&W collection - these and a beautiful pair of DM3s - see my other items These are truly wonderful speakers, in extremely good condition I travelled hundreds of miles over the course of a couple of years looking for the best DM2s i could find... I even bought a different pair which were lovely but not quite as good as these, but when these came up, I had to have them These are the later DM2a version which have the HF (treble) adjustment switches (which have been treated with De-oxit and are total free of crackles) The speakers are securely fitted to the wheeled stands you see here and I bought them like that - they are exactly the right size for the speakers so are either designed specifically for the DM2s, or are custom made - they are very nicely built and are also in superb condition... these speakers really benefit from being on stands The sound, as youd expect, is exceptional - all drivers are working well, the Coles 4001 super tweeters add the essential presence while the Celestion HF1300s present most of the treble - my 20hz - 20,000hz test reveals the Coles are definately working well If you are like I was - looking for the best DM2s that you can find, I think you mayve found them I will despatch these in two separate boxes, packaged extremely well - the relatively high delivery cost reflects the actual shipping cost and the couple of hours itll take me to pack them and the large amount of packaging material I will use.
