Sounded best with Orange spade to Red Post / White Spade to White Post / Blue Spade to Blue Post. Crossover has 2 wires coming out for low and 2 binding posts on speaker. Green spade to Black post / Yellow Spade to Red post Copy regarding the Crossovers: The North Creek Crossovers consists of three physically and electrically independent networks per channel, one for each driver. These networks are constructed from 1% hand matched components where the matching is done on a component level before the subassemblies are constructed. Matching is also verified during final testing. The maximum variation in left/right networks is less than ±1%, five times tighter than original production. The North Creek Networks are completely hard wired. No circuit board and foil conduction paths are used; rather, solid copper bus bar or inductor leads make main connections. Legendary Bowers & Wilkins Matrix 801 Series 2 in nice shape. They have been well taken care of and are all original. All components work as they should, and they sound wonderful!They have sequential serial numbers and you can tell as the wood grain and color is very similar on both cabinets.There are a few scratches about 1 inch on both speakers on the back corners and one 1inch tear on upper cloth and a ¼ hole on the other upper cloth (pictured). Otherwise,the finish is nice, uniform, and shiny and all drivers have no damages or deformities.Here is your chance to own a pair of these highly acclaimed speakers which were used in many famous recording studios and led to the world renown B&W 801 Nautilus and Diamond series. Iprefer local pickup at my home in Summerlin Las Vegas zip 89128 but would be open to having them shipped at your doing and cost. I will not crate or package them either, that will be upon your shipper.
