What you are looking at is the LG BP165 Blu-ray player that is Region Free. It is seven years old and still works, but please read this What is playsRegion A - basically it plays everything. Region B- it plays Region B discs, and some Region Free Blu-rays but not all. Some Blu-ray from Twilight Time play on it, Region Free Universal discs no longer play in the B mode, and maybe a few Warner Brothers/Warner Archive Blu-rays still play but not all. It might need a firmware update, but I really dont know The good news is anything that is Region will work in Region A mode. And yes instructions are included. This was my backup Blu-ray player and never connected it to the internet or played with the settings. I turned it on and played movies, mainly the Region B movies that I have. You will get the HMDI cable and also the remote and obviously the plug. Basically you will have everything you need to play movies. This is not the highest end model. I can recommend i, maybe people who are new to using Region Free players or use it either as your main player or even as a backup as I did.
