When I was first introduced to the Ayre DX5, I was pretty much an Oppo and McIntosh fan and had been for years...I was familiar with Ayre and their reputation and knew through trade shows and friends who were dealers, that they were as passionate and committed as any A/V company in business.Anyone who engineers and builds a $10,000 transport, generally knows what theyre doing and they always do it in their own way...
