Near perfect condition Ayon CD5s Tube CD Preamp and DAC. Physical condition is excellent, Remote condition is excellent.This is an incredible sounding unit. The Phillips Pro Drive is revered as the best in the business. The PreAmp sections in the top AYON units are exceptional removing the need for an additional box. The DACs in the 5s are the best Burr Brown produced at the time and are still highly respected and can upsample to 24/192 if desired.The CD5s needed a couple tubes replaced, so I sent it to Ayons Factory Authorized Service Center. While there it received all 4 power supply rectifier tubes, as well as all 4 output tubes. Tubes being matched and balanced. The Phillips drive was removed and serviced. The remote control was also serviced. The new owner will receive the invoice for the service work. Since sending in, Ive dismantled my other system, so the CD5s is now extra.
