I am the original owner of this Anthem AVM 50V.2 pre-amp/processor. The unit itself is in excellent condition with very few scratches and minimal signs of wear. The AVM 50V works and sounds great. The original Anthem Room Correction (ARC) System microphone hardware kit (including microphone stand and adapter) is included. PLEASE NOTE: Although the remote control works, the rubberized finish on the remote control has deteriorated over time and has become very sticky to the point where it has accumulated dust/dirt/debris. Although it works, its not something you will want to use everyday to control the AVM 50V. You will definitely want to use a universal remote control or another type of control system for day-to-day operation of the pre/pro. I have included as many pictures as I could to show the overall condition, including some of the remote control. I used this AVM 50V for several years before replacing it in late 2019 with a newer pre/pro. It has been in storage for the last four years. The only accessories included are the remote control, the AC power cord, and the ARC microphone hardware kit. No other accessories, paperwork, nor the original box is included.

Anthem’s last model before shipping production overseas, and its heavy gauge metal casing and superior build quality is impressive. Mine is in fantastic condition, and comes with Remote (+ batteries), complete operating manual, IEC power cable, and original packaging. The AVM 30 is a stereo (and 2.1) preamplifier and home theater processor with video switching, independent multiline control, FM/AM tuner, choice of surround modes, on-screen display (and you can also make every adjustment on the unit display), with subwoofer crossover adjustment, full speaker tuning for size/distance/crossover, DAC, multiple digital and analog inputs/outputs, XLR & RCA connections, tone bypass, dynamics settings, etc., etc. And as a stereo preamp it has been invisible and true to the source. The Remote is as clean as a whistle (no crud in the gaps or worn buttons), smart and programmable (there’s a comprehensive list of program codes in the operations manual). It’s had a pampered and protected life--no dings or scuffs--including annual cleaning with DeoxIT. Everything works, and the vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) is still sharp and contrasty--no dropouts or faded dots. Note 1: What it doesn’t have is HDMI (see the back panel pic for connection options). Note 2: Due to package size and very heavy weight, shipping is pricey.
