Selling non-working Marantz AV8801 A/V Pre-amplifier in need of repair. This unit powers on (i.e. front panel lights work) but does not produce audio/video. This preamp was being used in media room until we believe it was affected by lightning strike. Havent fully tested all of the hdmi inputs but none of the hdmi output ports are functioning. Suspect HDMI (output?) board was destroyed by lightning surge through hdmi cable connected to the projector. Please note that the power cable of this unit was directly connected to high quality surge protector/line conditioner (Panamax 5400) so do not believe the main power unit was affected by lightning but never took this in to get tested and have since upgraded to a different Marantz processor. Unit comes in original box, with every accessory (i.e. remote, Audyssey mic, power cord, cd and owners manual). Outside is in near perfect condition except for scratches on hdmi ports (see picture).
