Der Receiver, der in Japan gefertigt und durch Soundmaster von Denon/Marantz abgestimmt wurde, befindet sich technisch in einwandfreiem Zustand und unterstützt auch heute noch gängige und hochwertige Surround-Formate wie DTS-HD Master Audio, Audyssey DSX, Dolby True-HD oder auch Dolby Pro Logic IIz etc. Die Einmessung erfolgt mit Audyssey XT32 (alt: Audyssey Gold), also der großen Ausbaustufe der Einmesstechnik von Audyssey, welche auch heute noch in den Topmodellen zum Einsatz kommt. This auction is for a used Marantz SR7010 home theater receiver with 9 channels of internal amplification. Introduced in 2015 at a list price of $2200, this was Marantzs top-of-the-line receiver at that time. I purchased this unit brand new from Crutchfield in 2016. This model has a generous number of features including 4K passthrough/upsampling (all HDMI inputs are HDCP 2.2 compliant), Dolby Atmos, Audyssey MultEQ XT32, Apple AirPlay, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, phono stage, RCA preamp outputs for all channels of Zone 1, HDMI & RCA outputs for Zone 2, RCA outputs for Zone 3, 7.1 channel analog inputs, and an HD Radio tuner (something missing from modern Marantz receivers). Power output was rated at 125 wpc with 2 channels driven. This receiver was used almost daily from 2016 until recently in my 7.1.2 system. It has been very reliable but has two issues. The first is that the volume control on the remote no longer works. I got around this issue by using the volume control on my TV attached to the receivers ARC input. (Ive also noticed that replacement remotes are available at low cost here on eBay.) The second issue is that Ive (very rarely) heard distortion in the surround/back/left and right/height channels. I partially resolved this issue by using a separate power amp for the surround rear channels. The issue happened so rarely in the right height channel that it did not bother me. The other 7 channels operated with no problems in my experience. Cosmetically, the receiver has no apparent flaws, and this sale includes the original packaging and all original accessories. Im selling this receiver AS-IS and with a low starting bid price (and no reserve) in light of the issues described above.
