It has been barely used. It was bought from a local convention. It was going to be used for a short-throw projector, but the plan was scrapped. It has been tested and is in full working order. This is NOT the 48gbps version, and I do not know what the difference is. Note: I will NOT accept returns due to the plethora of counterfeit items. Its sold as-is, and theres no return for any reason. Please note that you cannot bend this cable as it will damage the fiber optics material, just like an optical audio cable. The cable is also directional; you MUST follow the directional arrow to get a signal. Ultimately, whether this works for you depends on many factors, such as your devices signal strength and refresh rate. Note on Authenticity: as aforementioned, theres no serial number on the cable itself. I guarantee you will receive the item as pictures. It was purchased at a convention, and I do not have the receipt. I have also sent photos to Audioquest, and they replied that this item appears authentic. Audioquest also suggested plugging it backward because cheap imitations are unlikely to use expensive optical material; thus, it would work if plugged backward. True optical HDMI cables are directional so it should NOT work if plugged backwards. Ive tested using this method, and indeed, it does not work when plugged backward. Thats the best I can give you as evidence of Authenticity. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: eBay might charge additional customs fees, import duties, and shipping fees that are out of my control.
