I bought this 2 meter long optical cable NEW in 2006. I could not find the original wrapper or receipt. This optical cable was used to connect a Pioneer Elite plasma 50 TV with a Pioneer Elite DVD player. Eighteen years ago, there was not the pervasive counterfeiting of Audioquest products on the internet. This cable is the real deal as I bought it BRAND NEW from the Best Buy Magnolia department that sells the higher end products. This optical cable looks and works as new.
