Out of production and hard to find a similar large passive device like this, these are a great value. Original MSRP was $125 EACH in the early 2000s. When reintroduced in 2015, the price was $150-200 EACH depending on the vendor. Thats $450 original value.They never degrade, so they hold their value.My simple Bowers & Wilkins and store-bought setup sees a bit of a difference, but a more substantial/detail-oriented system could really see the benefit. I believe these are second generation 4. The early 2000s variant was just shy of 5 All of the labels still have their original thick plastic protectors keeping the metal plates undamaged. However, there are some small flaws to the plates. Great for significantly reducing hum, ground loops, tube rush, DC offset, hiss, and static created by RFI and EFI. Each core is 4 in length with a 5/8 diameter channel for wire runs. For power cables, this would really only fit one at a time. However, depending on your interconnect diameter, you could fit 2-3 cables through a single WaveGuide. Do be sure that when reassembling, that you feel the 2 blocks repelling each other. They oppose polarity to cancel out the external magnetic field so as to not interfere with nearby devices. Two of these have only one screw in each WaveGuide! It holds them together well enough, but I would advise to spend $5 at a hardware store to purchase some preferably non-ferrous screws. The third one has both screws.
