You are about to bid on a PrimaLuna Evo 100 Tube Poweramplifier. This was purchased by me new from a local dealer. The power tubes are EL34 with 12AU7 and 12AX7 tubes in the front end. You can also run KT88 and other tubes as this amplifier will automatically bias to some degree. The manufacturer lists specifications on their website. I’ve used this power amplifier in a system with Tannoy Cheviots. The sound is superb. Very full. Tannoy loudspeakers are quite efficient but I don’t detect any hum or hiss. It’s almost solid state with the holographic qualities of tubes. My preamplifier is a Shiit Freya Plus. I’ve run the 6SN7 tubes and solid state, so called LSST tubes on that preamp with success in this system. I estimate something around 500 or less total hours of listening. I also run a solid state amp and find myself running that more often. This is basically a brand new piece. I have reconfigured my room and need to use only balanced connections. This power amplifier is only single ended so it must go. That isn’t a limitation if your preamplifier source will be reasonably close by. This needs a new home and could be a big score for your system. I’m not in the professional sales game so I can’t take returns at this time. Study this carefully before buying. Up for auction is a pair of Harmonic Tech Pro-Silway II XLR cables. They are 16 feet long measured from the edge of each connector. Its 15 10 of cable to the start of each connector. These cables were pulled from a high end system and were tested as working 100%. I have borrowed this description from the Reference AudioVideo website. The conduction wire is a bi-metal hybrid, consisting of four filaments to optimize both bass and treble frequencies. Half of the filaments are designed for the midrange/treble signal and consist of two isolated strands of pure silver, cast to a purity level of 7N (99.99997%) and of course, is made with Single Crystal TM (OCC) technology. The remaining two filaments consist of Single Crystal copper and optimize the bass range, adding a fuller tone quality. The braided outer shield is pure silver plated on copper and was designed to isolate the delicate signal from RFI noise fields. A second defense noise barrier is provided in the form of an aluminum-coated Mylar shield situated closer to the conductors to ensure a very high signal-to-noise ratio. This Twin-Shield design will give you the ultimate in clarity and 3-D imaging with a velvety-black background silence due to elimination of electromagnetic interference, whether generated by RFI (radio frequency interference), digital noise, or A.C. generated hum. All insulation consists of either Teflon tape or air-foamed PE (polyethylene using the air bubbles as the main dielectric).
