I am downsizing and selling my Spendor S8e loudspeakers. I have taken very good care of them. They are in excellent condition and come with two pairs of black cloth speaker grill covers. Speaker spikes are included. I have always used the custom made top driver cover. The grill covers have no defects.The wood is beautiful and there are no noticeable defects. The Spendor S8e is a two way bass reflex speaker. It has a 27 mm coated fabric dome tweeter and 210mm (81/4 inch) woofer. The cabinet is a beautiful light oak and constructed with a thick well braced frame. These speakers have a gorgeous mid range and treble and a throw out a huge sound stage and go down to at least a conservative 44 Hz. If you dont own a sub you will hardly miss it. Originally sold for around $2,800. The Absolute Sound review stated; You are getting as close as a whisker to $30,000 in sound. At $500.00 they are priced to sell. I cannot go any lower.
